AOL User 23187425 Revisited
After posting about AOL User 23187425's odd set of searches, I was contacted by Randolph Carter, a San Francisco-based artist and musician (not to be confused with the H.P. Lovecraft protagonist of the same name). Moved by the strangeness of the entries, he expressed interest in producing a reading of the queries under the aegis of the artist collective to which he belongs, The Museum of Viral Memory.
On the group's website, Carter explains:
I've begun a series of recordings of the material. The first, available as .mp3s in sixty minute blocks is four and a half hours long, read by my Mac using Vicki. I hope to have another version up this weekend, read by one of the members of UDV in real time. Ultimately I don't know where this work will go. To me it bears a great deal in common with Shaman, JackE, A Voice She Did Not Recognize and UDV's performances of To Have Done With The Judgement Of God.
